MAD LOVE FOUNDATION
THE FOUNDATION
Music • Community • Love
Mad Love Foundation is a South Shore-based non-profit that supports students and community members through music, inclusion, and love. It was established in 2015 by the Jodka family after Dave Jodka, an incredible father and musician, passed away from cancer at the age of 44. Mad Love was founded to celebrate Dave's life and create a legacy by sharing his love of music and community and inspiring future generations through love and rock'n'roll. Our annual signature event, The Mad Love Music Festival, is hosted each October and features an unparalleled lineup of rocker vibes and electrifying performances. The Festival unites music enthusiasts in an unforgettable one-day community event. Mad Love funds the South Shore Conservatory's Dave Jodka Scholarship for Future Rockers. The scholarship, open to high school students on the South Shore, covers all expenses associated with performing in the band, including coaching, recording time, and marketing support. Past scholarship recipients have gone on to pursue their passion for music at Berklee College of Music and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, among other places. Mad Love also funds community rock stars through partnerships, student volunteer opportunities and future scholarships with a mission to inspire all to work hard, be kind, have fun and spread mad love.
